Welcome to my website.

I offer private tutoring for GCSE, A-level, and University students in English Literature and Philosophy.

I was fortunate to spend 12 years studying and teaching English Literature and Philosophy at Oxford University, culminating in the publication of my monograph Coleridge and Scepticism (2007, Oxford University Press).
​
As well as my extensive experience in one-to-one tuition, I was an admissions tutor at Oxford for five years, interviewing candidates as well as assessing their personal statements and written work. I am happy to help students prepare for all aspects of the University Admissions process.
